鈥淎 majority of my life, I wanted to go into medicine, I wanted to be a doctor,鈥 says Kiyoshi, who graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree in molecular biology and from Northwestern University with a master鈥檚 in journalism. 鈥淪o actually, working for 网曝门事件 Health 鈥 although, certainly in a different capacity than a physician 鈥 is a good fit.鈥

Kiyoshi spent almost 12 years in the TV news business as an anchor and reporter at KGET-Ch. 17 (NBC) and a reporter at KERO-Ch. 23 (ABC) in Bakersfield, where he built connections for telling the many stories in Kern County. Now, Kiyoshi鈥檚 job is to build different types of connections in Bakersfield and the Tehachapi Valley via strategic community partnerships that promote wellness and drive strategic initiatives with schools, non-profits and other healthcare agencies.

鈥淚鈥檓 excited to continue to partner with organizations in our community as we work together on making Bakersfield and the Tehachapi Valley healthier places to call home,鈥 says Tomono, who first joined the 网曝门事件 Health family in May 2017.

Kiyoshi is an avid runner, hoping to add more marathon medals to his accomplishments. He and his wife, Cecilia 鈥 the director of Business Development for 网曝门事件 Health Bakersfield 鈥 are the parents of two sons: Joshua and Christian.
