Baby girl makes her New Year鈥檚 debut in Hanford

HANFORD 鈥� The team at 网曝门事件 Health Hanford鈥檚 Birth Center helped welcome Kings County鈥檚 first baby of the year at 2:28 a.m. on January 1, 2022.
Baby 鈥淓lizabeth Daniela鈥� was delivered naturally by mom Daniela of Hanford. She weighs 9.7 pounds and is 20 陆 inches in length.
鈥淲e are pretty grateful to have a New Year鈥檚 baby,鈥� says Daniela whose daughter was given her first name as her middle name. 鈥淥ur 3-year-old son, Alex, wanted his sister to be named after me, since he was named after his dad.鈥�
The name Elizabeth also has special meaning. Mom and dad wanted their daughter to have a biblical name, since they are of Christian faith, and decided on Elizabeth, which means 鈥淗elped by God.鈥�
Baby Elizabeth did require a little help entering the world. She was supposed to arrive on December 26, 2021, so to speed up her arrival, Daniela decided to run some errands on December 30. She was shopping at Wal-Mart when she felt her water break.
鈥淲e stopped at my mother-in-law鈥檚 house since my water hadn鈥檛 fully broke, and she told us we should go straight to the Birth Center,鈥� says Daniela.
A little over 24-hours later, Elizabeth was welcomed into the world by her parents with the help of Dr. Sayed Basel, OB-GYN, and delivery nurse Thania Benitez.
This was Daniela鈥檚 first time delivering at the Hanford Birth Center.
鈥淚t was a great experience. Everyone was polite and nice, and the Birth Center is roomy and really nice. I feel really happy and thankful to God,鈥� says Daniela.
