鈥� If you鈥檙e having chronic foot pain: 鈥淭his could be a sign of underlying concerns like arthritis or flatfeet, which can be treated through supportive arches, physical therapy or injections,鈥� Dr. Liddiard says

鈥� If you have a wound that won鈥檛 heal: 鈥淚t鈥檚 important to seek immediate care,鈥� Dr. Liddiard says. 鈥淚f untreated, a foot ulcer can get infected and lead to limb loss, but it鈥檚 treatable if found early.鈥�

鈥� If you can鈥檛 put weight on your foot or ankle: 鈥淵ou could have an injury to the bones, ligaments or tendons in your foot,鈥� Dr. Liddiard says. 鈥淎 podiatrist can evaluate your symptoms and recommend a treatment plan.鈥�
