This certification has evolved into the MBSAQIP designation, which is overseen by the American College of Surgeons,鈥� Fowler says. 鈥淲e are one of only three programs in the state that hold this certification. We are also the only program in the state that holds the Comprehensive Center with Adolescent designation. In addition, HMSA has certified us with the Blue Cross Center of Distinction designation. We are the only program in the state that holds this designation.鈥�
