Inspiring hope and overcoming stereotypes

Lisa M. Harrell is proud of her work at 网曝门事件 Health Vallejo. She is a mental health technician and celebrates 12 years at our Vallejo campus on March 10th. Lisa鈥檚 work brings her close to patients and connected to her coworkers.
When asked about her time at 网曝门事件 Health Vallejo; her impact, accomplishments and beliefs, this is what Lisa had to share:
"I believe my most significant impact here at 网曝门事件 Health Vallejo is inspiring hope in the lives of the patients we serve while providing consistent care. This keeps within our core mission (living God鈥檚 love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope) and is reflected in the many letters, phone calls and expressions of gratitude we receive for the care provided during their stay.
I am proud of my family and my accomplishments as an African American woman living in a society where women are not always treated as equals. As a black woman, I have had to overcome stereotypes and racism prevalent in our society while continuing to thrive; leading by example, providing consistent patient care while fostering collaborative working relationships with my coworkers in keeping with our core mission.
As a Christian, I believe that by sharing God鈥檚 love in words and deeds the Lord allows me to be successful in this mission. Finally, in the famous words of the great African American author and poet Maya Angelo, 'I wouldn鈥檛 take nothing for my journey now.' I love what I do!"
"I've had to overcome stereotypes and racism prevalent in our society while continuing to thrive."
